Update Communication - Published 19 January 2024 (11:00)

Description:

Non-Processing Days for 2024 were not added to CSS prior to the start of the year (bank holidays and weekends).

Any switches with an objection window closure date of 1st, 2nd, 6th, 7th and 8th of January may be impacted. Therefore switches submitted may have not had the full objection period, taking into account bank holidays and weekends.

Analysis on the impacted dates has found that an objection was sent after the objection window closure for 73 switches.

All 73 Impacted switches identified by the CSS provider as being objected outside of the objection window have now had action taken against them and all Incidents have been resolved.

Depending on Market Participants system design and processes, if there are any additional switches that may have triggered objections that were not submitted after the shortened objection window but should have been, Market Participants are advised to raise an incident via the normal process if further investigations or details are required.

As advised, corrective work has been completed and Non-Processing Days have now been added to CSS for 2024 going forward.

Communications and Information:

  • Post Incident Review will be completed and handed over to DCC Problem Management to track actions, risks and lessons learnt.
  • No further comms will be issued by DCCMIM.
