Clause 24 of the REC Main Body explains the role of the Contract Manager and the obligations on each REC Party to appoint individuals as Operational Contacts to manage operational issues on behalf of that Party. These Party Details are held in the Operational Contacts tab in the REC Portal and are available to REC Portal Users with the correct permissions.

Providing Party Details

Contract Managers will, as part of the Accession process be provided with an Operational Contact Template form by their Operational Account Manager (OAM). This should be completed fully to provide the required operational contacts. A completed template needs to be provided for each registered company and may cover more than one Market Role.

The REC requires that parties keep these contacts up to date, so an updated template should be provided to your OAM when necessary, who will then update the details displayed on the REC portal.

Accessing Party Details

Party Details are held in the Party Operations area of the REC Portal in the Operational Contacts tab. These can be accessed by anyone with a REC Portal Account who is linked to an associated REC Party. If you are not associated with a REC Party you can request this from your Master Admin User (MAU) or contact us at the REC Service Desk for more advice.

Updating Party Details

The Contract Manager for each REC Party needs to take reasonable steps to identify and update any errors or amends required to their operational contacts. This can be done by emailing enquiries@recmanager.co.uk, contacting the REC Service Desk or by contacting your OAM directly.
