The REC Party Register is a database held in an Excel workbook containing information held by the REC Code Manager with respect to REC Parties. The REC Party Register is generally updated on a weekly basis and is accessible to registered REC Portal Users via the ‘Party Operations’ area.

REC Party Register Data

Data is held on the REC Party Register for the following categories of REC Party:

• Electricity Suppliers
• Gas Suppliers
• Electricity Network Operators
• Gas Distribution Networks
• Meter Equipment Managers

The following information is published where available for each organisation:

• Registered Company Name
• Registered Company Number
• MPID or Short Code
• Date of Accession
• Assigned Operational Account Manager
• REC Party category
• Contract Manager name
• Contract Manager email address
• Contract Manager telephone number

The REC Party Register contains additional information with respect to accredited MEMs, including relevant work categories and restrictions.

Amending Your Data

The Code Manager updates the data on the REC Party Register whenever it is made aware of a change. Ordinarily, this may be as a result of engagement through an Operational Account Manager or changes in information that comes to light during Performance Assurance activity. Otherwise, you can raise issues with data by contacting the Code Manager via the Service Desk. The Code Manager will verify amendments with the REC Party Contract Manager before validating any amendments.
