If a Supplier has entered administration or has ceased to trade Ofgem may withdraw their Supply Licence and appoint a Supplier of Last Resort (SOLR) to ensure consumers are protected. The consumers of the failed supplier will be moved to the new SOLR supplier.

The Code Manager will work closely with the failed supplier and the SOLR throughout the process to ensure that access to the right data within the REC Services is available at the right time.

The Code Manager will make a recommendation to RECCo at the appropriate time to withdraw access to REC services and the REC Portal for a failed provider.
