This schedule sets out the obligations for metering operations including the obligations for accession and qualification to the REC and requirements for accreditation. It also sets out Performance Assurance Board (PAB) Rules of Procedure, and requirements around Metering Schemes and the Consolidated Metering Code of Practice (CoMCoP).

This schedule is mandatory for Domestic Suppliers, Non-Domestic Suppliers, Gas Transporters, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Metering Equipment Managers (MEMs). Non-Party Automated Reading Service Providers have a voluntary obligation to this schedule.

The role of the Metering Scheme Auditor and Audit is also contained in the Schedule alongside the process for an applicant wanting to join a Metering Scheme.
