Call for volunteers to improve EMAR
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your experience with our platforms, we are seeking valuable input from REC Portal and EMAR Users to identify potential improvements for the REC Portal and EMAR online services.
We are offering an opportunity for users to participate in an online interview, lasting up to one hour. This session will be an informal conversation where you can share your experiences and feedback directly with a member of the Code Manager team. We want to understand how you currently use these services and gather your thoughts on what improvements could be made.
This is your chance to have an open dialogue about your user experience. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the REC Portal. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to us at: technicalenquiries@recmanager.co.uk.
RECCo's Enquiry Services Project
The current contracts for Enquiry Services are due to expire in July 2025, with the option for RECCo to extend them until July 2027. Considering the changing energy landscape with the introduction of the Central Switching Service and the ongoing deployment of the Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement Service, it is important to decide on the best strategic direction for the development of the Enquiry Services leading up to the 2027 contract milestone and the final expiration of the current contracts.
RECCo recently published the business case for their Energy Enquiry Services Evolution Project, outlining their plans. You can read it here: Enquiry-Services-Evolution-Project-Business-Case.pdf (retailenergycode.co.uk)
