Non Receipt of D0217 & D0260
There have been some supplier enquiries around not receiving D0217/D0260.
Some of the reasons this could occur is if the registration failed to send at CSS/adapters, failed to be received at LDSO, or was rejected at MPRS.
In a few of these cases, the only path to resolution is for the registration to be entered into MPRS via super user functionality.
When a registration is added manually (via ‘superuser’) a D0204 is produced and not a D0217/D0260.
This is the existing functionality that was utilised pre CSS go live and has not changed. In line with the DCC slides on Error API handling, and missing messages, these issues are being resolved and so the volumes of registrations that fall into these categories should have now dramatically reduced.
If D0217/D0260 are required even on exceptional error handling, instead of the D0204, this would require either
a) a REC change to enable CSS to resend messages that have failed to send/load, these could then be processed via BAU and therefore a D0217/D0260 generated, or
b) a BSC mod would need to be raised to amend BSCP604
