REC Data Specification Users were invited to register for our application program interface (API) workshop on 23 January at 10:00. As part of our continuous effort to improve our systems, we discussed how the integration of API’s can provide users with a more seamless experience. 
The aims of the workshop were to:

• Give the users of the Data Specification an understanding of how API’s work and their benefits 
• Provide an opportunity to discuss the integration of APIs into the Data Specification
• Get views on whether users would find it useful for APIs to be introduced to the Data Specification
