- This proposal is to introduce a Third Party Intermediary (TPI) Code of Practice (CoP) into the REC architecture as a Category 3 document. This will ensure that it is available on the REC Portal and has robust change control. It should be noted that a separate Change Proposal will be raised to introduce changes to the REC, requiring suppliers to only use a TPI that complies with the CoP. An assurance and accreditation regime will also be established, so that Suppliers and REC parties will have confidence that any accredited TPI is compliant with the CoP, without having to undertake individual audits. In effect, this Category 3 change baselines the TPI CoP and fulfils the first deliverable of the wider project to provide effective governance of TPIs through the REC.
