On 19 May 2022, the REC Code Manager hosted a virtual webinar to update stakeholders on the progress of implementing Market Stabilisation Charge arrangements into the REC, including updates to the design of the framework. It followed an initial engagement session held on 22 April 2022, where stakeholders were informed about the proposed design principles of the arrangements.

One purpose of the session was to support stakeholders responding to the consultation of R0035 - "Market Stabilisation Charge Administration". This Change Proposal was the vehicle to introduce the detail around how the MSC scheme will be administered under the Retail Energy Code.
