On 20 June 2022 (14:00 - 15:30), the REC Code Manager hosted a virtual webinar to inform REC stakeholders about changes to the Electricity Enquiry Service (EES) and Gas Enquiry Service (GES) taking effect from REC V3.0 go-live on 18 July 2022.

Summary

As part of the Switching Programme development, Ofgem has provided information about the implementation of the Retail Energy Location (REL) data item being introduced into the enquiry services. At this session, the EES and GES Service Provider provided a demonstration of how to access and use the REL.

Additionally, the Code Manager provided an update on the process for GES Access Agreements as GES moves into REC governance from 18 July 2022.
