REC Schedule 10 – The REC Charging Methodology

This schedule sets out the basis on which RECCo apply discrete charges to relevant REC Service Users by use of a Charging Methodology.
It is mandatory for all REC Parties and REC Service Users.

REC Charging Statement
As set out in Clause 9 and Clause 10 of the REC Main Body RECCo has an obligation to establish and agree an annual budget and the process for recovery of costs, along with the Charging Methodology. The REC Charging Statement sets out the requirement to publish an annual REC Charging Statement which complies with the Changing Methodology. The REC Charging Statement can be found on the Portal.

The REC Charging Statement applies to the following REC Services:
- Electricity Enquiry Service (EES)
- Gas Enquiry Service (GES)
- Metering Accreditation and Audit
- Secure Data Exchange Service; and
- Energy Theft Tip-off Service (ETTOS)
